18th C Arlesian wedding armoire. Curved cornice decorated with pearls. Basket of flowers protruding on the top crossbar. Part between the doors carved with vine branches, fruit, ears of wheat, agrarian tools, basket of roses and pedestal table in flames. Low crossbar decorated with a soup tureen. Important ironwork with lock entrances on the entire heigth of the doors and thick hinges.

First half of 18th C Louis XIV commode (chest of drawers) comprising 3 drawers in the shape of a crossbow. The uprigths are straigth and rounded in front. The top, with sinuous cut, strongly protrudes. Large wrougth iron pull handles as well as lock entrances are original and embellish this unusual commode in walnut wood , originally from the Alpes de Haute Provence.

18th C Arlesian wedding armoire. In the provencale tradition, the front is richly carved and enriched with an important original ironwork : hinges, entries on the whole heigth, espagnolette and cremone lock. The carved decoration, related to the bonds of marriage, comprises a basket of roses in the upper part, a soup bowl on the lower part, on the middle part between the doors, fruit, ears of wheat, beribboned knots, bride’s crown and intertwined and flaming hearts.

18th C Arlesian wedding armoire. In the Provencale tradition, the front is richly carved : the curved cornice is underlined by a row of pearls and a guilloche frieze ; it surmounts a basket, protruding, of fruits and flowers ; the doors, 3-panel mounted, are carved with flowers on the crossbars ; the middle part between the doors takes up the marriage symbols with a tied ribbon, a pair of burning hearts, musical instruments and the bridal crown ; a soup tureen surrounded by flowers on the low crossbar completes the whole.
An important ironwork with thick hinges and keyholes along the full heigth of the doors in polished iron, enriches all.
