Early 18th C Louis XIV mazarine Commode (chest of drawers) said « with console uprigths » comprising 3 drawers . Their fronts are with embossments , decoration also found in alignment on the sides. The 4 uprigths rest on small doe feet. The bronze pull handles and keyholes are original.

18th C Louis XV writing commode (chest of drawers) comprising 2 drawers and a flap that opens onto 6 small drawers on stepped shelves . It rests on 4 curved feet ending in doe hooves. The fronts of drawers are in the shape of “arbalète” (crossbow). Pulling rings, decorated with birds, and keyholes are in gilded bronze.

Statue of saint carved in oak wood. She wears a crown on her veil and holds in her hands the Book and a nail. In all probability, it is Saint Helena, empress, mother of Constantine, who found the instruments of the Passion of Christ symbolised here by the nail. The open Book of Scripture and the sobriety of her clothes display her profession of faith following her conversion to Christianism.
