Saint Antony the Great. Early 17th C Statuette in carved walnut wood with traces of gilding and polychromies. Dressed as a monk (he is considered the father of monasticism), he wears a hood, the scapular and a rosary. His attribute, the T, is carved in relief on his left shoulder. His face, with marked features, is resolute. He has a long beard with wavy strands, thus affirmating his status as a hermit.
