Early 18th C Louis XIV commode (chest of drawers) said Mazarine comprising 3 drawers with embossments and curved fronts in “arbalète” (crossbow) embellished in their centre with carved decorations with motifs of circles and a quadrilobe. The very prominent uprigths rest on oxen’s feet; they are lightly curved and carved with floral motifs. Original wrougth iron pull handles and keyholes.
