18th C Louis XV console in gilt wood, from Provence. Based on two arched legs joined by a brace. Richly carved with a decoration of pierce-carved shell and vine branches, leaves and grapes on the top crossbars ; of foliage bouquet on the brace and acanthus leaves.

Veined Carrara marble (said “Arabescato”) top with scalloped cutting.
